MTGSalvation has strict guidelines for what it tier 1, 2, etc. and I think we should abide by their definitions:

Proven
Competitive Decks Representing the Current Metagame
Proven decks are updated every ban cycle. A Proven thread must have a primer updated since the last ban cycle. A deck is considered "Proven" if it fulfills TWO or more of the following criteria:

Makes up 3%+ of the MTGO metagame (reported 4-0/3-1 and T16 decks at Dalies/Premiers) over the last 3 months (i.e. has prevalence greater than one standard deviation over average MTGO deck prevalence)
Has 1+ Grand Prix/Pro Tour Top 8 appearance in the last 6 months
Has 3+ Grand Prix/Pro Tour Top 16 appearances in the last 6 months
Makes up 3.5%+ of the Day 2 metagame at all GPs in the last 6 months/since the most recent significant ban update (i.e. has prevalence greater than one standard deviation over average day 2 prevalence at GPs)
Makes up 3.5%+ of the Paper Top 8 metagame for events, held in the last 6 months/since the most recent significant ban update, with 40+ players (i.e. has prevalence greater than one standard deviation over average deck prevalence at above average attendance paper events)

Proven decks:
    Affinity
    UR Twin
    Melira Pod
    BG Rock
    Jund
    Scapeshift
    RG Tron
    UWR Control
    Storm
    Merfolk
    RUG Twin
    Kiki Pod
    Bogles

Tier 2
Established
Tournament Decks with Results
Established decks are updated once every ban cycle. All Established threads must have a primer updated since the last ban cycle. A deck is considered "Established" if it does not meet the requirements of "Proven" but still fulfills ONE or more of the following criteria:

1    Has finished 4-0/3-1 at 17+ dailies in the past 3 months (above average finish count for decks that are not 2+ standard deviations over the pooled average, i.e. the "adjusted pool")
2    Has 1+ major paper event (Grand Prix, Pro Tour) Top 16 appearance in the last 6 months
3    Has 15+ Day 2 metagame apperances at all major paper events in the last 6 months/since the most recent significant banlist update (i.e. any deck with above average day 2 prevalence for all day 2 decks at Modern GPs, all for the adjusted pool)
4    Has 7+ T8 showings in large paper events with 40+ players in the past 6 months/since the most recent significant banlist update (above average finish count for the adjusted pool)
5    Second Chance Policy: A deck must fail to meet Established criteria in 2 consecutive ban quarter to be moved to Creation.

Tier 2 decks
    Burn (1,3,4)
    UR Delver (1,4)
    UWR Midrange (1,3,4)
    Living End (1,2,3,4)
UWR Kiki Control (1,2,4) (Subset of UWR Control in Proven)
Junk/Angel Pod (1,2,4) (Subset of Melira Pod in proven)
    GW Death and Taxes (1,4)
    Naya Zoo (1,3,4)
    Faeries (1,2,4)
    Mono U Tron (1)

    Gruul Zoo (3)

    Soul Sisters (1)
    4C Gifts (1)
    UWR Twin (2)
    Junk (4)
    GW Hatebears (4)
UW Control (1) (Spreadsheet made a rounding error here, so although it says this doesn't meet Established criteria, it actually does for MTGO with 17 dailies)
    8Rack (5)
    Nykthos Green (5)
    Griselbrand (5)
    Cruel Control (5)
    Assault Loam (5)
    UW Midrange (5)

Proven decks:
    RG Tron

HAH!
But Taysbys version is not proven, btw man if you want me to get into rg tron follow this simple list:

If you follow the conditions I will:
Play modern in a competitive tournament with rg tron for every week for the next 2 years, and will do a larger tournament every 3-4 months or whenever a large modern tournament shows up.

Master the deck.

Become a supporter of rg tron on imtg, and on the target/Walmart FAQ sub forums, including the Starbucks help and support program.

And all you have to do:
Send me the bulk of the costly cards of rg tron.

If accepted address will be given in a pm,

;)

I would assume i'd still own the cards, correct? ;)
(but really, if you want to compete with it in a large tourney, i'd send it to you to use.  practice on untap.in or cockatrice)
Nah, I'll just practice online until the holidays and then buy either monoblue or gifts tron
