I have a passing familiarity with how mana flows, or rather doesn't, between phases without cards like kruphix. Can somebody clarify whether the mana produced by the tokens through {awakening zone} is usable in my first main phase or does it vanish before I can use it?

You can use the mana produced by {Mana Echoes} (which is triggered by {Awakening Zone}) during your upkeep using Instants or activated abilities that have a mana cost.
116.3a (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=116.3a): The active player receives priority at the beginning of most steps and phases, after any turn-based actions and abilities that trigger at the beginning of that phase or step have been put on the stack.
You will receive priority when your awakening ability triggers, and resolves, which triggers the second cards ability, upon resolution I believe you will recieve priority again giving you a chance to use the mana it produces, however, if the second card's ability is considered a mana ability, this is not the case and you will not recieve priority upon it's resolution.
Guys, he is asking if mana produced during the upkeep can be used during the Main Phase and the answer is no.

Without an ability that allows mana to carry over to the next phase (upkeep into main phase) your mana is emptied at the end of your upkeep. Because all mana is emptied from the mana pools as steps and phases end.

{Awakening Zone} puts its token on the battlefield during the upkeep. With {Mana Echos} out, the mana produced by Echos triggered by the Eldrazi spawn entering would also come in during the upkeep.
As states, the mana will go away as the upkeep phase ends, before the first main phase begins. Barring some sort of {Upwelling} effect, of course. The good news is that you'll still be able to use that mana for instants, or anything with flash.
Thanks for clarifying for me agrus. Lol. And I thought so guys. Haha. Appreciate the help. I run {prophet of kruphix} and {kruphix} in my eldrazi deck. Someone mentioned mana echoes somewhere and I got curious. But I believe with One or both of those creatures out I should be able to take advantage of it.
