just based on your notes {isolated chapel} isnt standard legal.

For just a good bashed {Blood Baron of Vizokpa}
Or we could just go soul sister style, with pinging {Soul Warden} {Suture Priest}

As in terms of "modernizing" as in making it modern playable, that's going to require money even if we made it a brew. Which I will happily help you if you want to go that route

Unfourtaintly this is becoming a Black White Midrange deck, which I play a lot,
So I have a feeling that nots what your shooting for

{ordeal of heliod} over {ordeal of erebos}.
if your not actually playing hand disruption theyll just try to play around it. also {spectra ward} is a sweet card for {heliod's pilgrim} to tutor for.
