On the planeswalkers.com site, is there a way to view another players history? Like, to see if they've gone to PTQ's or GP's?
What's PTQ OR GI
PTQ = Pro Tour Qualifier
GP = Grand Prix
They are both types of large mtg tournaments. The ones you'd have to go to a convention center for, and perhaps find some pro players there. Not your typical local game shop affair.

You don't have to be qualified for a PTQ, another large tournament are the SCG invitationals, and the players championship.

Yes you do. Now you have to go to a PTQQ to qualify for a PTQ.
I don't think that's true. Unless you have some super word rules in your area. But the one in mn on the 24th u know s ton of ppl are going to, and none of them have done a "ptqq"

The topic pertains to structured mtg events, shock they were talking about. If they went off on a tangent about marshmallow fluff, then I would ask them to stay on topic, but they didn't, so I won't.

No, the topic is viewing other people's history on planeswalkers.com. Not about events.

But your question encompassed events like gp's and what not, and people had questions. Don't be a thread nazi please.
My question didn't intentially encompass them. I was using as an example. There doesn't need to be 7 posts after discussing PTQ's or the new changes to them. Those are tangents.
Nice to see Godwin's Law only took 11 posts. But I'll be a thread nazi in my on thread. I'd like an answer to the question, not discussions about irrelevant things.
You're right that this was off topic, but HOW GOOD IS MARSHMALLOW FLUFF?! ;)
Did Ian change his name???
