Alright guys, I saw a video thinking he could be in khans and this is what I think. He resembles the rug guy in the teaser, rg ish with snow that resembles blue;) and he looks like the khans of tarkir style art. It could happen. I'm gonna assume he serves bolas. Do we know how sarkhan became affiliated with bolas? Ramaz could be the first encounter

Would seem likely IMO since he's affiliated with Zendikar it provides us with the perfect transition into the next block when we return to fetchlands --err Zendikar

Yes, because those stones were the Might stone and Weak stone, which contained the essence of Glacian, who had a planeswalker spark that never ignited

No, Urza died upon the final activation of the Legacy Weapon.
In his fight with Gerrard, Urza was beheaded and was still alive. Do you think removing his eyes would do anything more? Lol. But that just shows you how powerful oldwalkers were before the Mending. They were basically gods. Nearly all powerful, nearly immortal... Bolas is trying to get back to that...

I just had a crazy fanboy moment. What if when we return to zendikar bolas DOES get back to that and they reprint him with the power of an old walker? What if he like kills the eldrazi and steals their power to make it his own and so he has eldrazi themed abilities? That would be awesome, but of course it's all wishful thinking.

I think his ultimate is pretty toned down... Sure it's good, and it's that powerful, but imagine his ultimate if he hadn't lost all that power from the Mending...

It would be nice to see a new Nicol Bolas though, seeing as we've only gotten {Nicol Bolas} and {Nicol Bolas,Planeswalker} plus it'd be really fun to have decks using all 3 Nicol Bolas cuz why not?
There's going to be a new Nicol Bolas. I'm also expecting Ugin sometime soon. Nicol Bolas as is is pretty badass. If he absorbed Eldrazi ect...

-35 is pretty much game. In Nicol Bolas fashion.
Maybe if the numbers were lower with the sameish CMC he'd be printable. I doubt it. Maybe +1, 0, -6, -12 starting 8.
Ok total newb here. I've tried looking into how to beef up my magic history and have gotten extremely lost as to where to start and where to go. Can someone suggest a starting point and a where to go after that? I've looked at the wiki and it was quite daunting as to the actual beginning. Much appreciated!
