This is the deck that I piloted to 6th position at game day.
Round 1: 2-0 against a weak mill deck piloted by what I am assuming was a relatively new player. Basically a bye.
Round 2: 2-1 against R/W Soldiers. All games were close, made a lot closer by the fact that the only lands I drew were pain lands and confluences for the majority of all three games. Once i developed a stable board presence I overran the opponent quite easily.
Round 3: 2-1 against Selesnya Hexproof. Similar situation to the last round. I lost game one in a close encounter and was on the ropes in games two and three until I stabilised. Doomwake giant did a lot of work for me in this match.
Round 4: 0-2 against R/w burn. Both games I had lethal on board with 10+ life only to get hit with 4+ burn spells at once to finish me off just in time. One thing to note was I had two coursers out at the same time and couldn't hit a land for 3 or 4 turns. That could have turned the tide but oh well.
Round 5: intentional draw with jund monsters to guarantee top 8.
Went out 0-2 in first round of top 8 against jund walkers. It ran faster than my deck and had bigger bombs. I was always up against it and just couldn't keep up.
