Help me out guys.
{card}Breath of Fury{/card} + {card}Tenacious Dead{/card}
I feel BoF wants to resolve before Inget chance to pay for TD "bring it back to battlefield" ability after sacrificing him ... but I may be wrong. For example if the proper thing to do is to think about BoF "if you do, attach" intervening-if as a delayed trigger *maybe* I have chance to pay and attach to itself after sacrifice.
you guys let me know
you guys the law
this is a longshot, but want to confirm
thanks
messed up links, dang. here you go: {Breath of Fury} + {Tenacious Dead}
Your initial reasoning was correct. The ability has to resolve completely before anything else is actually added to the stack. Sacrificing the Dead and attaching Breath to another creature is all a part of one action. Once that action is complete (the ability finishes resolving), oh put your Dead's return trigger on the stack.
To follow up on the use of 'if' - It's not an intervening If clause, here. The ability just asks "Did you sacrifice the creature? Yes? Okay, now do this.". It's a small point of interaction, since if your opponent kills the creature in response the the trigger, you can't sacrifice it to take advantage of the ability.
Resolved
thank you rem :)
