So, gp OKC is modern.... I need a deck that I can put together before September 12!!! I would like it to be a deck that can win. I have a rough draft of modern burn. Should I post that for you guys to edit? Or should I start a new deck? Please help!
What's your budget, what colors/deck types do you like to play, etc? In my opinion it is easier to build something close to what you normally play if you don't have a modern deck yet. That way learning to play it well will be easier.
I used to play splinter twin, only needed the fetches! But I tore it apart when fetches got expensive... I play a loose version of modern burn now, but I don't know if burn can win. I like pod. But the {noble hierarchs} could be tough to find... I'm alright with buying cards. My budget isn't massive, but I can use my {Force of Will}, {taiga}, and {plateau} to lighten the load. I also own a {verdant catacomb} and an {arid mesa} that I can use to help trade for fetches. I'm also not terrible against playing infect, If it can win.
I don't think that torn is the right deck for me... :P
Melira pod is fun, and it's pretty good. It can be kinda complicated but if you keep a copy of your decklist with you it can be a lot easier
I think that I want to play pod. Anyone have a good deck list? Or cards from it that they would like to trade?

Check out Jacob Wilson's list from PT BNG. If you can't afford {Noble Hierarch}s try out {Arbor Elf}s or more combo pieces. (An extra Melira, maybe {Spike Feeder}/{Archangel of Thune} combo)
I'm going to do my best to trade or buy all of the pieces! And that's for the arbor elf suggestion, in case I can't quite get there!
Merfolk!!! Or Mono-G infect
{Avacyn's Pilgrim} can also work as a replacement for hierarch.
If you play pod start studying now lol it's very complicated so play test play test play test!!
I've already started! I was up till six watching tech videos!

It's crazy!! Like remembering specific uses for each card is key. I once was playing my Polymorph deck against pod and I had an Emrakul out and the guy had a pod and a 4 drop out but he forgot shriekmaw could kill Emmy so I won lol
So just know everything for each scenario is so key

Pro Tour Born is old and out of date. More decks are gunning for Pod, don't know if that list is as good now as it was then. I'm currently trying to work in Lingering Souls and Dismember may be better than slaughter pact if the meta is still BGx heavy. The former can deal with Obliterator and Olivia Voldaren.
I've been waiting for you! Can you give me some tips for pod? Like what should be in my sideboard?
