Is there anyone that's an expert on Pod and or twin that can play some games on untap.in and have me film it so I can't finally stop debating about my deck and let the results show? I'd want to do about 10 games to make sure i get the best info possible.
Lol I wanna watch!! Go Pod!!
Speaking of Tron, check out magic.wizards.com, there is an article about a deck that is UW control/Tron/{Gifts Ungiven}. It looks so cool.

That's what I meant my bad :P
I'm no expert but id be willing to play a few games if you want, I'm familiar enough with the deck
Dude. Face it. Nearly always, Tron can't do crap to Mpod or any other T1 pod.
If you want an expert on pod find Conan.
Pod is a very difficult deck to play actually. A mediocre pilot isn't realty a proper representation.

That's the only reason why Pod isn't banned lol it's not banned bc 1/2 the ppl who play it don't know how to play it. Even the ones who know how to play it still make tons of mistakes!!

I have played against it multiple times. My whole lgs agrees that tron hoses pod, and there are several modern experts there. I'm trying to prove it too.
Are you kidding? Every good pod player would shitstomp Tron. If they think that, they're obviously not experts.

4 people discussing the "hot play" that are competive modern players and know how pod works. That was what I was playing against once. The only reason they went 2-1 against me, was because I didn't think through an attack. They sacred the rigt 6 to my Emmy to combo off and kill me. That was my mistake. I should have played and swung with the wurmcoil. Other than that, I was kicking their trash.
I'm tying to provide proof, which is a lot more than you are trying to do mlerner.
Hardly, you're providing opinions and situational things that I'm disproving, can't always wins in the end ;)
Just saw your game. I'm ek1 on there. Pm me if you ever want to play, I could netdeck something to help you test even though I might not play it perfectly.

What type of pod?
I want to see the video!
Melira I believe
Tron wrecks pod. Conan and I discussed this in a thread in the Modern section.

Ok, if Conan and Deathly can both agree on this... I'd still like to se a video against competent Mpod.
Whether it does or not, melira is still tier 1 and tron....well it's not quite there.
Tron has enough prevalence to see Tier 1 play, just no top 8. In numbers and percentage, it is tier 1.

There. This is from a year ago, but the decklists haven't changed that much in these, so done.

Tier one is pretty much defined has having high finishes, Tron is not tier one. Another thing to consider in this debate is the fact that Pod decks and Tron decks have so much variance in the deck lists.

Tier 1 is considered more than just high finishes. It is also about being prevalent in the meta as a consistent deck to see come day 2 of an event and it does have big finishes in MTGO top 8. Consistent finishes too, being at 7% of the amount of decks that are seen. Twin and Affinity at are 10% of decks. Jund was at 14% near both Times of its bannings. Tron is Tier 1.
And there is variance, but only in numbers. The key cards are usually the same and in the same amount. The core of the deck stay the same as well, and so does the play style. Variance means nothing if the deck has the same play style because it is usually how a match would play out.
