Title: Pardic Dragon
Post by: raf802 on July 30, 2014, 10:43:43 AM
Regarding  {Pardic Dragon} 's suspend ability.
Does it mean spell as in any card. (As all cards are "spells" in this game. Or does it mean a sorcery/ instant only. Otherwise its most defiantly suspended for the whole game. I haven't played a game where a card is not played after turn 2.

It's any spell creature enchantment instant sorcery PW etc. if it was just instant/ sorcery it'd say so

basically almost every card is a spell while its on the stack. this doesnt count lands, as they are not spells and do not use the stack. creature cards are spells while on the stack, same with planeswalkers and enchantments. all spells while on the stack. so someone casting a creature or an instant would trigger the dragon and allow them to put a counter on it.

{Fury Charm}. Otherwise, if it has a mana cost and came from somebody's hand, it's a spell.

cards dont actually need mana costs to be spells. like {living end} has no mana cost, but when its last time counter is removed, it will be a spell on the stack.  also, cards can be spells that dont come from hand. like commanders being cast from command zone are still spells.

Living end does have a mana cost. It's right next to suspend. xD Listen to this guy though. He's right I was just being overly simple.

from the gatherer on {living end}:
10/15/2006   This has no mana cost, which means it can't normally be cast as a spell. You could, however, cast it via some alternate means, like with Fist of Suns or Mind's Desire.
