Let's see... Um... This deck hoses pod?  Kills their persist.  {pyroclasm} kills almost everything, stone takes care of the rest! karn can re start if they gain a bunch of life, etc.  no one at my lgs who plays pod has been able to beat this list.

Melira pod is for beginners . I'm talking Kiki pod where pyro clams does nothing against all the rest angels.

Melira Pod is Tier One, Kiki pod is a joke. Kiki-pod is just bad splinter twin.

Melina Pod is by far the best list out there the only thing is that there's a lot of hate for it {Grafdiggers Cage} {Rest in Peace} {Drown in Sorrow}<--- lol

What Kiki pod runs resto angels?

And you see I have a lot of hate for pod in here.

And pod is not for beginners. Twin is for beginners.

Resto Angel is usually Kiki pods win con that or {Zealous Conscripts}

Such as?...

First off, twin and Melira and Kiki aren't for beginners, at all. They are hard decks to play.

For competitive modern, it's a lot more basic than pod.  Really it's just know what to scry for, what to counter, and when to combo.
And pod is when to play pod, what to search for, and when to combo.

Owait, you just got the basic idea. Let's not worry about interactions, how to actually play, how match ups are, what hands help.

No deck is that simple, that is just the basic idea. Stop being an idiot when it comes to playing. If you think a deck is simple, go play goldfish.

For tier 1 modern, I would say twin is the most basic, even if it isn't easy.  Am I not correct?

Twin is fairly easy but tbh in modern especially no deck is easy bc you have to play around so many threats!

Still no. Out of tier one, the most basic deck is Bogles. Which is borderline, but still.

Tron may take down pod but pod still takes down enough stuff to be awesome.

I never said pod was bad.
But you implied it was worse than Tron. Right? ;)

Scapeshift is another deck that beats Pod.

2 side here.  ;)
He's talking about Hushwing Gryff, as it is better than Torpor Orb and Hatebears has 2 in the main deck.

Oh Taysby. Please stop.

It is not debatable. Hushwing Gryff isn't a specific sideboard card either, as it is open to be a threat and a hate card at the same time. It is also a better sideboard card than torpor orb because it is a threat as there is more reason to side it in, and it doesn't just stop abilities so it is never a dead card like Torpor Orb is. Torpor Orb does nothing more than what it says on the card, and it limited to the amount of match ups to side it in because of this. Which is why Zoo and Hatebears can use the card to its full extent.

In Affinity and Tron, Torpor Orb better because it doesn't cost any more than 2 and it isn't a specific color that is needed. But those around have great match ups against decks that completely rely on ETB abilities, so Torpor Orb only ensures a better win.

Let's also get one thing straight, main deck specific sideboard hate isn't always a bad thing since it could be an amazing meta call against a lot of the field and has become a thing in plenty of array metas.

Oh, I don't need to mention Flash. If you think it is worse, learn what flash does.

Normal I completely agree with you, but on this I can't. We ALL KNOW(taysby...) that {darksteel relic} is the perfect sideboard card. It does everything. It's not even an argument...

It is easier to take out, but that is with any hate bear. But the advantages far out way the disadvantages, and it slows the opponent down to get hit by a removal spell, which is more often a good thing in the match ups that Hushwing Gryff is.

Which another thing that Torpor Orb can do. It also has the ability to be main decked because it is a threat.

You're just not getting how good the card is.
