Title: Darkslick Shores
Post by: Dudecore2012 on April 09, 2012, 01:00:16 AM
Worth investing in these at this point? I know rotation is a ways away, but does it make any sense to really spend the $20 for what may become largely useless cards?

Well at this point I would just spend a few extra dollars and get a {Watery Grave}. It is better IMO and won't go down in value because of going out of rotation.

I'm guessing Dudecore2012 plays Standard only.  Right?

I play standard. How does {watery grave} dodge rotation? Is it because it is a "basic" land type?

That land is not standard.  I think the point he is making is if you are going to spend money on a land that will rotate out of standard soon why not just buy a cheaper one that is better and also not standard.
