The original Rock deck I built was a bit inconsistent so I added the Obliterators with pit fights and some extra land to help cast Obliterators.

Yea the 4cmc will hurt from Bob but that obliterator smashing the opponents face and permanents is hopefully worth the pain on my end ;)

{Master of the Feasts} in a midrange deck seems bad
He is the new addition and I am still on the fence.  He is so efficient as a 5/5 flyer for 3cmc.  He is a potential target to help with pit fight if the obliterator is not out.

Why do you think he is bad and what would you recommend as a replacement?

He's bad bc what Rock aims to do is use battles of {Attrition} to slowly gain an edge. Rock likes to IoK or TSeive the opponents hand to get rid of threats except now you allow them to draw twice .. He's just not good bc he allows them to dig for the answers. I'd up {Courser of Kruphixs} myself

I could add another courser and a couple more discard spells.  But man I like that 5/5 flyer :(

A 5/5 flier that allows control to draw another card .. Lol like unless you want them to draw their answers like it lets them dig for their {Path to Exile} or for their {Cryptic Commands} but all in all the 5/5 body is simply not good enough for that big if a drawback!

Pretty much what Mattao said, at best you're turning your discard into rummage effects and your Liliana into a looter. At worst you're allowing them to draw their answers. Master is a tempo card, you want to close out the game as quickly as possible with him.

This PLUS you're allowing Twin and other combo decks to draw into their combo pieces!!

Updated decklist.  I am going to my first ever FNM Modern event.  Suggestions welcome!

Latest update is adding {herald of torment}.....sure he is unproven in modern....but I'm gonna give him a go!  I love the late game bestow possibility on a big goyf or even 8/8 flying trample obliterator *shudder
