Title: Bug commander crisis
Post by: Skyshadow731 on July 15, 2014, 04:57:51 PM
Im looking for a bug commander, i already know of vorosh, damnnia, and mimeoplasm.

But what are others the can have any of the three mana symbols on the card to count. To have a little bit of fun you can make a bug commander to go along with kiora and {horobi, deaths wail} combo.

Those are the only three right now, I'm afraid.  Each of the Wedges (a color and its two enemy colors) only has three Legendary Creatures right now: A Plane-shifted Pirmordial Dragon, and two from the original COmmander Precons.  This is basically why we want Khans of Tarkir to be a Wedges-Matter block, so we can get more options.

 {Damia, Sage of Stone},  {The Mimeoplasm} and  {Vorosh, the Hunter} are all I could find...but for that combo you mentioned, {Dismiss Into Dream}.

I personally think mimeoplasm is the best out of the three as you don't nessisarily need him to be a graveyard base deck for him to be good. You can just pack your deck full of good value creatures that need answers, good removal (or the "combo" you we're mentioning earlier) and that's it! In the late game, mimeoplasm can become the best creature that had to be answered, plus additional counters.
