Of all the decks to start out in legacy with...have you considered running the Lab maniac/ {Chromatic Sphere} piles as well?

The deck is just so interesting, every game is like solving a puzzle. As for the Lab Maniac pile, I am new to the deck, so I am just running a decklist I found online, although I am going to change it up quite a bit because this list seems inefficient.

The lab maniac is the intro version to this deck...this is the most efficient more angles to win from variant..(if you can memorize them all)....if you're playing burning wish though...play 4....you want to be playing 7 doomsdays, not 6. You'd want to play close to 30 of them if you we're aloud so maximize what you can

Lol. 10 lands, 15 {Dark Ritual}s, 15 {Doomsday}s, 10 {Burning Wish}, 1 {Ideas Unbound}, 2 {Lion's Eye Diamond}, 7 {Gitaxian Probe}s! I win!!!! Thanks for the help, and I am going to join Storm boards and see if they can help me more. I'd love to master this deck, as it seems this is the best deck, as long as the pilot doesn't f*** it up, which is too easy.

You somehow cast {Doomsday} as soon as you can (early as turn 1 with {Dark Ritual}), with a way to draw the top card (preferably a {Gitaxian Probe}) and some amount of mana, or an LED on the field. Then you make a "Doomsday Pile" which is sometimes a long and intricate process (there is a whole spreadsheet for it: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AikcdBnfJwxgdG9jMXJmY1lCQXZRellwYzI4SVctaFE&authkey=CNzkp94I&hl=en&authkey=CNzkp94I#gid=0 ), but usually just (from top to bottom) {Ideas Unbound}, {Lion's Eye Diamond}, {Gitaxian Probe}, {Lion's Eye Diamond}, {Burning Wish}. You cast {Gitaxian Probe} and in response crack LED if you have one on the field for UUU. You draw the {Ideas Unbound} and cast it, drawing LED, GP and LED. Then you play both LED's, cast GP, in response crack LED's for RRRBBB. You draw {Burning Wish}, floating URRRBBB. You cast {Burning Wish} to fetch {Tendrils of Agony} from sideboard and hope that your storm count is high enough to kill them. If it isn't you either made the wrong pile or you have to go through a long and intricate process with other cards. This is bare bones basics.

Yeah, it is so much fun. I changed up the decklist. I think that discard will serve me better than {Silence}, it seemed odd to play W when you don't have to.

How do you win through counter magic?

There are two different decklists, and I have to try each, but either through targeted discard or {Silence} and {Orim's Chant}

God this seems like the most confusing yet coolest and most fun legacy deck ever.

10 lotus petals * I wouldn't want to play any lands if I didn't have to (;

Also, 4 duress and cabal therapys deal with the counters...it's the same setup vintage decks have, and there are far more counters in vintage
