I would like to talk about this BS. Red is notorious for getting the short end of the stick and it happened here again.
{Constricting Sliver} ({Banisher Priest} Sliver) gives Sliver EDH a huge boost because between this, {Harmonic Sliver} and {Necrotic Sliver}, Slivers can easily clear a board and keep it clear.
{Diffusion Sliver} (counter spells targeting sliver unless they pay 2) gives a psuedo hexproof that gives Slivers the boost it needs in standard and possibly Modern.
{Leeching Sliver} (defending player loses 1 life) means extra hurt and can win you the game before blocks are declared.
{Venom Sliver} (deathtouch) is amazing and combos interestingly with {Thorncaster Sliver}, {Striking Sliver}, and {Groundshaker Sliver}.
Then we get {Belligerent Sliver} which is just a {Two-Headed Sliver} that costs one more and is a 2/2 instead of a 1/1 (which doesnt really matter). Why Wizards? Why?
Cause slivers rule and they wanted to help us sliver fans out lol

I love slivers, I have a sliver Edh deck. Why couldnt red get a cool new ability?
Has the whole set been spoiled yet?

Yeah, it was spoiled at like 10 last night.
Damn didnt know very card was yet. I guess we'll make do with {striking sliver} and our haste boy from m14.
Yeah, but he's probably belligerent as .love..
...I'm just full of .poo. references people won't get
I don't see why you're complaining, that ability is actually pretty good. Evasion tends to win games, last time I checked.

It's still the worst of the new slivers, especially when you think about the fact that it's a worse version of a previous sliver

But we have seen the ability before for cheaper. Also "evasion tends to win games" but slivers have much better options such as flying, shadow, can't be blocked except by slivers...honestly this card is almost worthless.

"This card is almost worthless" ... Outside of Standard. Dude, So what. You got five others plus a land that are awesome. It's still alright.
So will slivers be really good until rotation and then fall off? In order to make a sliver deck you will have to play all 5 colors. These seem like more of a concession for other formats than standard.

It's looking like we'll have to do what we did with the m14 ones, use te best colored ones an build a deck around them. I'm thinking blue green red is a good choice.
I'm going Bant ({G}{W}{U}) with a tiny little splash for {B} bc well removal is handy lol
So far so good but the mana base is tough. And tbh {R} is just meh to me the only reason is play it is for {Boros Charm}
Slivers are the STD on magics wang
Hahaha they are the worst thing that ever happened to magic.
And now magic can't pee without it burning

Cause certain players had a bad experience playing against them in the day and don't want them back, or think the new ones look funny lol. I love me my sliver hive lol
I've been playing since ice age. Hated then when they came out, and still hate them now.
If you hate them then play spot removal ... Lol or wraths
