I should probably ask what your meta is like first lol mine is mostly zoo twin and pod all of which Decay is great.
Why do you say it's shitty? It seems like an unreal card can't be countered you stop their combo/kill their tarmo goyf
The guy who came 2nd at GP Minneapolis ran 3 MB idk I like it better than Olivia and a 3rd scooze
Quote from: Mattao19 on June 30, 2014, 01:38:00 AMOlivia is great against grindy decks that this deck isn't as great against. It is amazing against pod alone and can work well against creature combo decks.
Just a suggestion :) I still don't understand Olivia though
Quote from: Spencer Addington on June 30, 2014, 01:56:56 AMNot really. Olivia was more for sideboard but control isn't as big right now, so Thrun made its way to the sideboard instead.
Didn't most jund decks switch Olivia for thrun?
Quote from: Spencer Addington on June 30, 2014, 11:31:56 AMPretty much. You have to try it.
She's surprisingly strong for long games. I'm sure you could find a video of a jund list that runs Olivia and see the game winning potential.

Abrupt decay is a pretty shitty card.

Abrupt decay is a pretty shitty card.
Now I've heard it all, hahahaha yeah that card blows why even bother running it
Quote from: DeathlyFoiend on June 30, 2014, 05:24:09 PMAgree, I run 3 in my BG rock deck. Interesting to see only 1 main Anger but it makes sense to me since you're swapping Thrun for Olivia. Looks like a pretty solid list :) I'm curious why Jund over BG RockQuote from: Gocougs509 on June 30, 2014, 03:39:45 PMQuote from: DeathlyFoiend on June 30, 2014, 01:21:38 AM

Jund players side it out against Pod, Scapeshift, UWR Control. It is only really good against Affinity and Twin, which are either 50/50 matchups or better.
Abrupt Decay is a good card, but it is shitty in the meta and people shouldn't run more than 3 unless they are playing BG Rock.
Quote from: Teysa karlov on June 30, 2014, 08:00:58 PMTwin is already a good match up. 8 Rack isn't that big of a deck to see more than once at any big tournament. Zoo is the same way and we have a good match up against zoo. Robots is already a hard matchup and doesn't kill Etched Champion or Arcbound Ravager properly. And Abrupt Decay is amazing against Faeries.
{Abrupt Decay} is a sick card. It help stop twin, 8 rack, zoo, robots and fairies
Quote from: DeathlyFoiend on July 01, 2014, 12:12:43 AM-1 Shatterstorm, +1 Spellskite ;)
Here is a mock sideboard:
2 Grafdigger's Cage
1 Sword of Light and Shadow
2 Kitchen Finks
3 Fulminator Mage
1 Thrun, the Last Troll
2 Ancient Grudge
2 Shatterstorm
1 Shatterstorm
1 Blightning
This is off the top of my head without any thought, and the numbers are rough. But, yes, those cards are almost auto include in the sideboard.
