Changed my rear leaf springs (2007 Toyota tundra crew max limited) now it has a hard pull to the drivers side almost seems like my alignment is off. Any ideas? I tried googling but I gost too many responses but none that's seem to help. Thanks.
We need to get dudecore back.
Did you mount the springs in the exact location the originals were on the axle? Seems like the axle could have shifted left or right. Have someone follow you while you drive it and have them see if the truck is, for a lack of a better term, "dog legging".
Also measure the distance from the front of each tire to the back of each tire to make sure that distance is exact. If not then adjust accordingly.
Look at cltrn. Forum master, magic expert, AND now auto insight. Color me impressed!
Thanks. They didn't send the cut sheet with it just had them labeled left and right. On side was longer by less then an inch. So I put one on backwards. Flipped it and works great.
Yea it sounded like your install moved the rear axle just enough and it was no longer parallel to the front. Mounting that leaf spring wrong would do that. Glad you found the problem.
RESOLVED :P
