You don't need to go to every post on here that isn't a combo and say it isn't. They know, we know, everyone knows. It's a combo, in my opinion, if two or more cards work well together. Now if someone comes on here saying {Island} + {Mox Sapphire} into {Storm Crow} is a combo I give you free reign to B-slap them up all you want, but until then I would appreciate it if you stop giving the other people on the forums a hard time about their combos or synergies.
im not giving everyone a hard time. when i see a combo i support, i let them know. me saying that i believe the cards are synergistic and not a combo is not me trying to put anyone down. I am trying to strengthen combo corner so that when people come here, they expect to see good combos and not just synergies. so when people post cards here that happen to interact, but arent a combo, im gonna comment that i feel that way.

{Island} + {Mox Sapphire} into {Storm Crow}
This is actually pretty similar to the aforementioned cards. They are both interactions of cards that let you cost other cards. Thing about 4x {axebane guardian} is hes more resilient because in addition to {door to nothingless}, the 4 of them should be able to cast basically anything in your deck. I like the idea of the combo 4x {axebane guardian} + any card in your deck, but when you make it specifically about door to nothingness, it doesnt present anything specifically different than other cards you could cast with the guardians. Sure you can pay for activating it when it untaps, grab a {clock of omens} or {seedborn muse} and itll be faster. but if you have a way to cast {door to nothingness}, you probably have a way to activate it, sans {composite golem}.
We hear ya, we're all looking for combos but if you actually posted a combo every time you crapped on someone else's, combo corner would be boomin
Here's the way I see it.
A combo is when two or more cards are used in a way that is not the original intent of the card.
A synergy is when two cards have things they are supposed to do / require and they fulfill each others needs
Axebane guardian is designed to produce massive amounts of colored mana
Door to nothingness is supposed to be amazing but requires mass amounts of colored mana
A combo would be say, Axebane guardian and sword of the paruns, because sword wasn't made to create infinite mana.
