Title: Viability of Elspeth, Sun's Champion in Modern?
Post by: Agrus Kos, Enforcer of Truth on June 21, 2014, 04:10:11 PM
It's slow, but it can take over an entire game. I think it could be a one-of in "draw-go" UW control decks. What do you think?

Meh it is a hard stretch IMO.  I personally don't see {elspeth suns champion} making much head way into eternal formats.  But I am also the guy who spent $70 on 2 foil {domri rade} cuz I think he will pick up steam in eternal formats.  With that said....I can emphasize with you curiosity....but time will be the ultimate factor.

It will not. It is not entirely a wincon like Gideon Jura and it is harder to cast than most other things.

Also, Domri is a good card but very weak in a combo meta. Better when control takes off. It will be used, but not a staple.
