Oh that is an idea

I'd advise against bump. Bc you already have bolt and bolt will most likely be used as a removal spell not a burn spell so by adding bump you make this deck more burny and less racky so be careful

He has so much discard that it could be helpful.  I just love bump in a {B}\{R} deck because a {lava spike} with flashback is too hard to ignore.

Even -2 discard spells and +2 bump could help a lot.  I have played this deck a lot too and drawing useless discard spells mid game is no fun.

I'd say try it but you wanna be drawing discard spells bc that's the point of the rack

Bump is cool, but Mattao is right. As long you keep top decking discard spells, you win with a Rack or Affliction on the field. One thing I want you to try for me though is {Cry of Contrition}. It can hit anything, you don't get to choose, but it can hit lands if they try to keep them in hand to avoid Affliction, plus if you put the haunt on one of your opponent's creatures and use one of your burn or kill spells, you can get some good card advantage out of it.

The entire deck does not need to be discard spells to work.  The opponent needs to cast spells to win so there does come a point where drawing redundant discard spells is not helpful.  You get one {ravens crime} in your GY and you am almost infinite discard spell anyway.

I always thought  {Blightning} would be a good card in 8 rack.

I third this^ get that card advantage and deal that damage.

What about a one or two of {Rakdos's Return}? If you can get even 4 mana it gives you card advantage, plus it deals damage so it can be a late game finisher in a slow game.

There are three cards that you are just dead to. {leyline of sanctity}, {witchbane orb} and that born of the gods creature that has the same ability as the leyline. I forget what it's called. So if you are going to splash a colour i would recommend white. {revoke existence} in your sideboard can take care of all three of your problems. Admittedly the creature isn't as big of a problem but the other two are very hard to remove without splashing white, red or green. And white is the only one that can take care of the lot.

It depends on your local meta. I see it regularly so I have to have answers to them. It doesn't weaken the mana base too much. As long as you keep your curve down it's not too bad. Still not ideal though
