I'm not sure I like think twice. Just make it more counters.

I think I do need a mana sink, though, just so I can do something with mana I hold up and not use, whether that be the pools or think twice. I'm keeping one of the two- ideas?

Well pools is bad in most formats because it doesn't produce coloured mana. Think twice isn't terrible and your mana sink should be a {Sphinx's revelation}

This might be just new but I would use wrath of god instead of verdict. It kills off regenerating creatures and thrun especially. I understand why the verdict just my personal preference

No Verdicts Main maybe 1 Wrath SB like Thrun is a threat but you'll rarely see Thrun
