I believe it still triggers. The tokens were not declared as attackers, so the exalted still goes through.
It won't get the exalted buff. You declare GoST to attack, the 4/4 comes in, your opponent chooses blockers, etc.
But with just GoST, you swing for 2 + and additional 4, I don't see where you would even need exalted.
I don't believe that's correct. When Traft is declared as the ony attacker, both his ability and the Cathedral's abilities will trigger. The owner decides in which order they go onto the stack.
When something triggers on a creature attack, it's typically about what attackers were declared-not how many creatures actually wind up attacking.
Mr. Johnson is correct. Exalted only cares that a single creature is Declared as an attacker. The Angel is simply put on the battlefield attacking.

Geist is declared as an attacker.
No other attackers declared.
Angel trigger goes on the stack.
Cathedral trigger goes on the stack.
Cathedral trigger resolves.
Angel trigger resolves.
Defender takes 7 assuming no blocks.
We be solvin' dem Exalted probs! Thanks, gents! 👍
