What's the requirements to advance to become and elder or a mod?
I have been here a long time, and I am on this app daily, so i would like to be considered as a trusted persona
I think being on a LONG time, being helpful, trusted, consistently on, and the mods all like you.
Well I feel like I achieve those,
I don't think I pissed anyone off lol:)
I would just like to help further the operations of this app. And I hope pitor sees that.

I've never heard of you..
Well... I'm sorry to hear that.
Let me introduce my self,
Hi. I am the Reckless Planeswalker, also known as mrcena789
I have been on this app since 2012
I work/post most of my forms under standard and usually help out there.

Was thinking the same thing
Mods are involved in a process. Generally members are active and recognized by the community. Perhaps taking an interest in certain areas of the forums (trade, modern, and commander for myself)

Sshhhh!!!!
First rule of mod club is not talking about mod club.

Well I did, as I said in the standard section.
But it seems nobody has heard of me, that's sad :(
But I interacted a lot more with the people who where here in 2012
I don't jump to conclusions in arguments, I enjoy peace. And for someone who has been here a while, and have received no slight consideration.
I would like to put forth my request
*hushed whispers*

Care to explain?
Not particularly, no.
Am I a bad person?
I'll leave that to the philosophers. Lol, nah, but that's how I imagine the mods decide things.
No you're not bad at all :) it's hard to get Mod status. I consider myself to be one of the most active people on this forum. But I don't expect to be a mod although I try and help out here and there

I consider myself to be one of the most proficient state alchemists, myself.
All this pos is about, is I appreciate the app and spend quality time on and into it.
I just would like to help it push forward, as a senior member of the app

I hear ya :P
How I perceive a mod, is when you are seen as helpful enough to other members, and seen as an asset to the other mods. You have to be knowledgable, and different. It's like a melting pot of people, if they had a group of people with the same ideas and thoughts, then it would be boring. Just be different, be knowledgable, and be courteous.
Who decides ultimately? Is it Piotr, or is there some sort of vote? I am wondering if my chances are slim or none. Lol.
^lol!
Nobody cares about modship when they're a STATE ALCHEMIST.
It is a mix. Someone can suggest a member to be a mod, and they vote. Piotr could always revoke that vote, but for the most part, the majority rules. You have to accept iMtG law (unless you were Testset ;)), and if you have gone through all that. Boom modship, you get your own little section for yourself to post in called Moderators. Everyone claps, champaigne is opened, blah blah blah.

Well I've never seen you and yes I've been here since 2012
I would say:
-Participate in a few areas of discussion
-For rules: cite rules, be succinct and correct with answers constantly
-Be yourself, not a lurker. It's hard for us to get a feel of who you are if you rarely post.
-Follow iMTG law.
-buy Piotr lots of beer
