Title: Hexproof from Privileged Position
Post by: YourMaker97 on June 13, 2014, 03:19:20 AM
{Privileged Position} If an opponent were to overload a  {Mizzium Mortars}, would the damage still happen since all the creatures you have have hexproof?

Yes, the damage from {Mizzium mortars} overloaded still hits all of your creatures. Hexproof means the creature cannot be the TARGET of a spell or ability your opponent controls. When {Mizzium Mortars} is overloaded the verbiage is changed from target to each. Thus making the mortars get through to damage your creatures. (Although if played without the overload cost, the spell targets, thus making all of your creatures safe.)
