Zombie Beatdown 75 cards, 15 sideboard 4 {Drowned Catacomb} 4 {Darkslick Shores} 12 {Swamp} 2 {Island} 22 lands 2 {Fume Spitter} 4 {Geralf's Messenger} 4 {Phantasmal Image} 4 {Diregraf Ghoul} 4 {Gravecrawler} 4 {Diregraf Captain} 2 {Phyrexian Obliterator} 2 {Skirsdag High Priest} 26 creatures 4 {Mortarpod} 3 {Geth's Verdict} 3 {Tragic Slip} 2 {Sword of Feast and Famine} 12 other spells Sideboard 3 {Surgical Extraction} 3 {Corrosive Gale} 1 {Cemetery Reaper} 1 {Nihil Spellbomb} 2 {Ratchet Bomb} 3 {Distress} 2 {Black Sun's Zenith} 15 sideboard cards Notes: This deck has been doing so well at fnm it had taken first two weeks running but I feel like it could be better. Let me know what you all think could improve it. I have been considering two liliana of the veil

I take it this is not a budget deck?

Have you noticed any weaknesses?  I think Lilly could be good here, especially if you can discard a {Gravecrawler}.

Black sun's zenith on the sideboard to deal with tokens.

Aldar's reap (with either gravecrawler or geralf) for some card draws.

Hex parasite on the sideboard to deal with counters (also good combination with geralf to have repeat undying).

Spellskite on the sideboard is amazing in general.

I put lilly vess in my zombie deck. I just like it better ;)

See lili is nice but what I really need is a way to deal with thinks like surgical extraction and the like. Control decks have been memoriciding me and snappyingbit back. In four tuna everything is gone

{mental misstep} will solve the problem with {surgical extraction}

It's not surgical extraction it's {memorcide}

Are you running {Surgical Extraction}?  Maybe you should use a preemptive  {Memoricide} on HIS {Memoricide}?  XD

That is actually what I did...In the end

It's wasn't until I tried it tht I saw the full implications of {mortarpod} in this deck. The sinergy is epic. I now run for. Nothing is better than mortar pod on the field with a messenger an a captain. Sac pod for one equip to messanger save for another one they lose a life for captain and then he comes back an does another two. Play a fumespitter an repeat. That and a skiradag priest is so sweet.
