We all know about combos
How about synergies and turns?
I've posted this one before but to get this thread anchored i will post it one last hopeful time
{garruk caller of beasts}
{Purphorus god of the forge}
{nykthos shrine to nix}
Hope to cast your hand
Works probably best after cyclonic rift overload
{Thassa, God of the Sea} + {Vraska the Unseen} = unblockable losing the game
That is amazing
{Cyclonic Rift} overload followed by a -10 {Ashiok Nightmare Weaver}. Ouch
That would lose you friends
Lolol
Too dirty
Can a mod please anchor this like combo corner? Piotr told me to ask

they have stickied one in combo corner. not exactly what we wanted but definitely a step in the right direction.

yes it is
Although he told me to ask for anchor
Not sticky
I believe those are the same things
Sticky is in a thread
Anchor is its own thread
Could someone go a little in depth about the difference between synergy and combos?

Well, the way that I see it, there's actually no difference, functionally. It's all a matter of the power of the Synergy.
What people generally classify as a 'combo' is two or more cards coming together to create an effect that will, usually, just end the game on the spot. Something like {Mikaeus, the Unhallowed} and {Triskelion}, or {Exquisite Blood} and {Sanguine Bond}. What these cards have together is just really good Synergy that just ends the game, so people call them a 'Combo'. Traditional Combo decks in formats like Legacy and Vintage actually just many more cards, like High Tide and ANT (Ad Nauseum-Tendrils), where every card in the deck is dedicated to getting the combo to happen, and will usually just win when it does.
Synergy is just powerful interactions between cards that work well together, but don't necessarily end the game. Most of the things that have been posted in the Combo Corner recently have been like this. Combinations of cards like {Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth} and {Cabal Coffers} aren't 'combo', but just happy-accident synergy that happen to be powerful.
One that I have always loved is {Notion Thief} and {Whispering Madness}. The look when they realize that they don't draw any cards is always magical.
I agree
To me i like the blood rush ability from {ghor clan rampager} on any monster because they look at their life
Look at their field then the monster with ghor clan then back at their life then at their hand
And back at life
It's priceless.
Then they {Doom Blade}
That's never happened to me :/ it'd be interesting
{athreos god of passage} + {brindle boar} + {angelic accord}
Lol
Tokens all day
{Athreos God of Passage} + {Voice of Resurgance}. You get a token and if they don't pay 3, just do it again ;)
That is just amazing
How about
Run nothing but high drops
{keranos god of storm} + any other 5+ drop
Or {riddle of lightning}
Filthy casuals...
{Grenzo, Dungeon Warden} with {Mana Echoes} in a Tribal Goblin deck. We had a player start that chain with a {Skirk Prospector} the turn after all the lands got wiped. He flipped his deck and destroyed everyone.

Would make {colossus of akros} & {bearer of the heavens} worth while
Exactly
Lol
Make them 8 drops work for their trouble
Lol

What's {Grenzo Dungeon Warden}
It's probably a goblin
Lol
Idk
The new Conspiracy guy (if that ever ends up in the iMTG database). The ability is "{2}: Put the bottom card of your library in to your graveyard. If that card is a creature card with power less than or equal to Grenzo's, put it on to the battlefield."
Basically, every creature was put on, and then added more mana through {Mana Echoes} to activate him more times.
Ohhh nice :P
