If i have a {mirror gallery} out, with {derevi, empyrial tactition} and 8 other creatures. If I {polymorphous rush} each other creature, and swing at someone with no flying, would they deal regular or commander damage?
Only the actual commander card would deal commander damage.
You only have 1 commanader..
Commander and legend rule are nothing alike
If you copy your commander, you still only have one of the cards that is your physical commander:)
Commander-ness is a quality of the physical card. Only the card that represents your commander will deal commander damage. Note that this also means that if your commander is turned face-down ({Ixidron}, or casting {Akroma, Angel of Fury} for Morph), you'll still be dealing commander damage.
903.3. Each deck has a legendary creature card designated as its commander. This designation is not a characteristic of the object represented by the card; rather, it is an attribute of the card itself. The card retains this designation even when it changes zones.
Example: A commander that's been turned face down (due to Ixidron's effect, for example) is still a commander. A commander that's copying another card (due to Cytoshape's effect, for example) is still a commander. A permanent that's copying a commander (such as a Body Double, for example, copying a commander in a player's graveyard) is not a commander.
Hmmm.. So you could have a really low powered commander. Have {Essence of the Wild} in play, cast of your commander, and your commander becomes a "commander" version of essence?

Totally. Any permanent that your physical commander card represents will deal Commander Damage
