Title: Spilt Second
Post by: Avodroc13 on June 01, 2014, 05:22:04 PM
I don't have any split second cards, but I would love to get my hands on some!
Mostly to benefit green/blue/white. But really, any split second cards I would be interested in.
I would also appreciate it if you would only offer if you have 5+ split second cards up to trade. :) Thanks.

Bonus: if you don't have any split second cards, what's the best split second card you know of? (Please link the card)

{Krosan Grip} is always fun. I run it in EDH.

Just added that to my needed list. Lol. Can it be used against planeswalkers?

Yessir, their abilities are activated abilities, which is why the +/0/- are followed by a colon.

So if someone did -12, and I played {Trickbind}, would the walker keep the 12, or does the player REMOVE the loyalty counters to activate it, then I counter it?

The -12 is before the colon, so it's a required payment to activate the ability. In other words, no, it will not keep the counters.

They would remove as that is the cost of the ability...then the ability would be countered
