Title: Updating my decks
Post by: Rothsteine on May 31, 2014, 02:48:47 AM
What do you all think that the only way to play standees is to update your deck.  Also is this worth all the monu it takes, so should be people switch over to legacy

Modern is more popular now than it's ever been. Eternal formats are where it's at.

I say modern and edh:) standard costs too much and you have to change it constantly

Pooling is also an option. If you share cards with a few friends, it really brings down the cost. For example, if you pool with 3 other people, it only costs each of you $22.50-$30 to buy a box (depending on prices in your area). Also, when you have more competitive decks, you win more and have more store credit. I highly recommend it.

This. Some of the modern decks Moneekah and I have wouldn't be possible without pooling our cards/resources together. We often make trades together it has opened us up to complete trades we wouldn't be able to do otherwise

Careful with pooling.

Only do it with those you really trust.

I hear drama issues over a friend who shares cards in a cube with another friend all the time.

Try not to share cards with those who aren't the stablest in emotions
