A combo I love using in my mono black human:)
{Consume Spirit}
{Crypt Ghast}
{Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx}
{Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth}

{Crypt Ghast} is super cool! I use him in my zombie deck to be able to cast {Grave Titan} on T3 (with the assistance of {Dark Ritual}'s of course). I like the massive amount of mana this combo produces as well. Something like this but {Bond of Agony} instead of {Consume Spirit} with {Platinum Angel} out is one my friend used on me.
{exsauginate} and kill all the people!
damn was also about to suggest {exsanguinate} i also like {tendrils of corruption} {drain life} {corrupt}.
I use that sometimes but only if I need to
What's the combo
Pretty much the first two cards, the second two just add more:)

What's the combo
It's a synergy not really as combo
seems like lots of people have been posting cards that have synergy here rather than combos.
Seems to me like there should be a synergy and turns thread
So the precious combo corner will be open to combos since people complain about it
Negging for making suggestions. Woo hoo!
I agree there should be a sundry thread!!
Well from what I've noticed
People dont care about synergy or turns
They only care about combos
It's rather annoying
Dont you agree trickey?
Yes. But ehh. It's what happens
People care about synergies and tens but this is a COMBO page.
We know this...
There needs to be a different wall for synergies and turns
Why they wont do it is beyond my knowledge...
{forest} + {birds of paradise} = synergy
{mikaeus, the unhallowed} + {triskelion} = combo

I like Drain Life for its good lifegain but the one drawback to it that things like Consume Spirit or Exsanguinate dont share, is that you cant overkill with it.
What I mean by this is if anyone has any boost to either their life or their creatures toughness when attempting to use the drain as a kill spell negates the kill portion of the spell which is as valuable imo as the lifegain part.

Maybe I'm misinterpreting {drain life}, but what it looks like to me is you can spend any amount on X and do X damage, but it limits the amount of life you can gain to the creature's toughness. Thus, you can hit a 3/3 centaur for 6 if you think your opponent has a {giant growth}, but you will only gain 3 life.

This seems to make sense to me.
