Plenty of good budget decks. Scroll through the modern section and you'll see them. My Living End deck, even: Fun to play, doesn't anger your opponents, and wins a good amount. And only like 50$. Cockatrice? MTGO?

Gavin Verhey (that might be right, lol) posts budget decks like every week on Daily MTG, and they are usually pretty good. Here is the latest article: http://www.wizards.com/Magic/Magazine/Article.aspx?x=mtg/daily/rc/301

Modern isn't as expensive as you think look at my Esper Tokens list in Modern it's fairly cheap and VERY competitive!

The deck i looked at thats #1 in modern is 1500..
I can probably only afford 1/10 of that...

150? That's worth ALL THREE of my fully built modern decks, combined!

Play casual with a few friends. Look for that modern deck you like. Slowly build it and play it proxied with your friends to make sure you like it. Do a few drafts and sealed to buildup some trades or I store credit. That's my idea. I did the first part (play casual) but haven't went further.

Infect is cheap and wins often enough. All you have to deal with then is being punched in the face for playing infect.

I ran {dismembers} in my infect. Just incase.

No m15 is rolling in
M14 is rolling out
That's how i define "roll out"
Sorry for the confusion

You're better off selling them before rotation. They'll drop in price a lot once they leave standard, and may have already.

Can you bump your list?  I would like to see if it is similar to my Esper deck.  Thanks.

Tron.  Relatively cheap except for Karns.  If you can't afford groves, use shocks instead.
Taysby.....aka the Tron cheerleader 😆

Agreed but it is still very powerful!

Having never played it I can't say how good or bad it is but it still is a deck that can cast T3 Karn lol

What's your opinion on Karplusan forest versus stomping grounds?

Most of the time, you're tapping it for color, so stomping would end up with less damage to you.

Tron doesn't suck right now.  I kill everything at least 50% of the time except things that mess with non basics! and those just take a little bit of luck.  (That is once I finish my sideboard. Does anyone have {grafdigger's cage}s or {torpor orb}s?)

I've got two orbs.

pretty much- if you're running fetchlands in RG Tron you're probably doing it wrong. expedition map/sylvan scrying should be more than enough.
