The main issue I see here is that the opponent is going to blow up part of your combo as soon as they see it. So you're just going to be suiting there with half a combo. I recommend graveyard recurrence

Ya that's true that's mostly why I have those cheap counters. This isn't my actual deck this is a shenanigans deck I made for fun lol

Ill probably add 2 {Academy Ruins} to get back Pili. But with my cant tips it's not hard to find the missing piece lol

That's why he has counters and snappy.  All it really is is splinter twin with a couple pieces switched.

Cantrips are great for digging.  I would suggest 4 {street wraith} just cuz it's almost as good as {gitaxian probe}

I have a deck that is pretty close.

http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?topic=20737.msg173799#msg173799

Except I use {training grounds} and {paradice mantle} instaid of {Grand Architect}. That lets me have most of my creatures be able to replace {pili pala}. Plus, paradice mantle and {puresight merrow} is just too good to ignore. Infinent 'something' happens pretty often on turn 3.

Remand is better in any combo deck since it nets a card and time walks the opponent. Mana Leak is meant for more control and is usually better in the late game than Remand is.

Another idea is to use Pact of Negation which is mostly only good if you plan to go off that turn alone and not others.

why is mana leak better in the late game? if you're playing control and the game goes long, frequently your opponent's going to be able to pay the 3 mana, whereas remand's still live in the late game because remanding your own spell to save it from countermagic or to get free card draw is a perfectly viable option.

That doesn't really get you value an in the late game, it doesn't actually slow down the opponent which is the main reason you play it. Mana Leak is better in the late game because it causes them to be closer to tapping out and allow you to get away with more. If you remand a spell, it still keeps their hand and the ability to recast it. You're only slowing them down by a spell and unless they are worse of without it, you're not stopping anything.
