{deadeye navigator}, {vexing devil}, {delver of secrets}, {birthing pod}. I've seen {elderscale wurm} be very very effective in sticky spots. What do u want to be ur main wincon ? Smash face? Also {young pyromancer} may also be nice

I've tried using the low guys in my EDH decks before at my local shop, the meta just doesn't allow for it. {Birthing pod} is one I considered, but I'm not sure what to drop for it, and it can't be copied by Riku. {Elderscale Wurm} does deserve a spot, but I can't get one at the moment.
As far as wincon goes, my plan is to "dirtle" as long as I can in Multiplayer matches, then after building up a decent mana basis and keeping the board clear, start dropping the heavy hitters. In 1v1, I want to be as fast as possible, dropping quicksilver as soon as I can and being able to protect it.
As I said, I came up with this while at work, so I'm not entirely sure how it will work out, but I think I made it fairly decent. I want to keep it the RUG style, and Riku posses a big enough threat on his own, that I'm hoping the attention will target him instead of the other stuff, baiting out their good removal early on. And if not, he can duplicate everything else that I do.
But, I'm not opposed to dropping and shifting things around, most of the cards I already have, I'm only missing Riku himself and {Dragon Tyrant}.

I think a {progenitor mimic} could be handy espically with riku. I don't know how u feel about infinite combos/loops, IMO if u can pull it off go for it but if u don't oppose {curiosity} and {ophidian eyes} on niv works great. {parallel lives} would double the the token production and {Xenagos the reveler} would build up sufficient mana and when he pops it can be marvellous. I can't remember if I saw a {birds of paradise} or {sylvan catyrds} or not but they could be useful mana producers. My meta is as aggressive as a pack of velociraptors and I find some quick cheap creatures with a decent ETB ability can make alotta difference. Espically if u can fit in a pod thier starter tutors. Also {fauna shaman} would serve sacs decent tutor. Hope this helps

Actually I overlooked a lot of those due to my sleepiness. I'll have to refidle with it shortly. However, from what I have played of my shop, there are many control decks that like to just flat out say "no" and then clear the board if they mess up.
I don't really like doing infinate combos, but I'm not opposed to having the option to, since there are those in my group who play "naughty" cards. *cough{worldfire}cough*

Well I hope some of the suggestions helped. My group allows "banned" cards and are pretty liberal with what hits the table. We allow {primeval titan} {protean hulk} {yawgmoths bargain} etc. if urs is somewhat similar a prim titan would be devastating in this

I'll have to ask around and see if it would be frowned upon. I'm already the dick in standard that no one likes. XD thanks for the help, I'm going to delete this one and resubmit a more thought out version if you wanna check it out later. :)

Made some minor changes. Added in {chromatic lantern}, {birthing pod}, {Elderscale Wurm}, and {fauna shaman}.
Anyone have anything else?

{hero's bane} one of the very few hydras that you can copy and hes so op if you boost him
i would also say run {doubling season} {primal vigor} {parallel lives} because the all mak rikus ability even more dangerous copy a creature that you play and you get 5 for the price of 1+rikus ability if the copied card is heros bane the they enter with more counters and if you give it more conters even 1 time it would come into play with 12 counters so you double it to 24 then ad 24 more leaving you with up to 5 48/48 hydras red gives haste so you could do this in one turn and swing lethal in 1turn at upto 5 opponents its literaly game over

Hmm... Not a bad thought. But that requires finding spots for four more things. All of which are still high on the mana consumption themselves. I'll see if I can dig around on it and find spots, but as nice as this idea is, I'm not sure I would be able to pull it off with the current build. And to give them haste means adding a fifth card at least.  I'll see about it, though. Thanks. :)

If you're lookin for hydras and play multiplayer a {hydra omnivore} copied or not is pretty silly. Also (just because he's my favorite in riku non-combo creature smash decks) {vigor} is pretty great. Also as long and you're {fauna shaman}ing might as well include {elvish piper} for Dat synergy

{elvish piper} is already in. {Vigor} was in for a while. And I'm not really doing hydras. It's dragons mostly. Mana ramp and some really nice finisher spells.
Not really looking for hydras. It's more dragons than anything. Dragons fit my play style better. And hydras consume too much mana each. Though I did have a hydra deck a long time ago that was awese as all hell.
I already have the {Piper} in there. And {Vigor} is proving difficult to get ahold of right now.

I was thinking of adding it in, but I'm not sure if it would actually see play very often. The way that this deck plays is fast paced. But, I can always try it out. :)
