Mana burn isn't a thing anymore. You lose no life

I'm kind of disappointed about mana burn. Now it's 1 less thing to have to consider.

Taking away mana burn has dumbed down the game in my opinion... now you don't think about how to spend your mana and worry about having to take burn from excess..

Is that a house rule or is it stated in the rules that it's obsolete? I don't wanna enter a tournament and get killed off in the first round cause I didn't spend all of my mana.

not a house rule. Legitimately obsolete.

Besides, if Mana Burn was still around, {Omnath, Locus of Mana} would be SOOOO bad!

Nah, it'd be fine.  Part of Mana Burn's rules is that you only lose life equal to the amount of mana lost.  Since Omnath (and Kruphix) make it so you don't lose the mana, you wouldn't get burned.
