Title: Older cards
Post by: Avodroc13 on May 22, 2014, 11:56:03 PM
In making a commander deck, can I use a "Summon Legend" as my commander, or does it have to be up-to-date and say "Legendary Creature"?
From my understanding a Summon Legend IS a Legendary Creature, just not printed as such.

just make sure the oracle text on gatherer.com has updated their text legendary creature- (random creature typ)}. i say that just cause a while ago sparkleninja pointed out some old summon legend that was updated to not be a legendary creature.

Not if they are currently a non-legendary creature according to the oracle text at gatherer.com
