I like Levelers, but I was expecting {Leveler}s.  XD

I think {Venser, the Sojourner} might be counter-productive in this deck.  You don't want to have to reboot your leveling.  He'd only be there for the {Venerated Teacher}.  If that's the plan, how about {Mistmeadow Witch}?  She works with the {Training Grounds}, is instant speed, and can be used to blink enemy dudes.  This can: remove auras/equipment/counter, make them remove them from combat, and make them "summoning sick".

I opened this thread thinking it was about the Mirrodin Leveler :(. On topic I'd invest in some Student of Warfare, they're almost like White Knights but awesomer.

Edit: Max out on em.

I still think its odd that proliferate doesn't work with leveler cards. :(

Grr to the guys that told me otherwise.
Now back to this awesome leveler deck, surely there's some cool proliferate stuff that could go in here :D

Was thinking more along the lines of {inexorable tide} and other cool proliferate cards. Might as well mention the {contagion engine} too..

Was thinking the tide would be good, coz you could drop out another creature or play a spell that you really need to, rather than having to save mana for the levelers. And they get tokens anyway.
Plus the engine has double proliferate for 4 mana, imagine how many counters you could be adding :)

Need to find a replacement for fluster storn! What are your favorite counter"spells"? :)

Mana leak is a staple counter card, but blackjester (or others) may have some more unique ones that fit well into this deck.
There's a counter and proliferate too. {fuel for the cause}

Its both good and bad... I think ill throw 1 in and then 3 lower manacost spells.

Levelers and Control don't mix.  Levelers want you to dump your mana into them every turn.  Control wants you to leave mana up for their turn.  I'd run levelers like a ramp/beatdown deck.

Hm... I just hate the idea of loosing a pumped up {trancendant master} to an o-ring or similar ^^
But maybe you're righ! Ill Test with and without. And i do like having room for more creatures in this deck!

You were right. Deck feels much better just in the sample draws!

How did you manage to ramp in these colours? I'm interested, I always seem to have to splash green or try and drop a {caged sun} or something in decks to ramp them.
I'd still try and get an {inexorable tide} or two into this deck somewhere. I don't thing it works against you other than it costing 5 to drop. But it would pay for itself with every other spell you play after it.
Dunno.

{Sphere of the Suns} and other Proliferates would probably be good.

But if i have 5 mana i think id rather spend it on something else. Would it be another creature or more levels.
