Net neutrality: the idea that all ISPs and governments should treat data equally, not allowing favoritism and discrimination of content, users, application support, data usage etc.
Already we're seeing net neutrality fall apart, with acts like Netflix paying Money to ensure no streaming problems.
Data caps on users have been attempted for years. Phone companies have been using data overages to charge tons of money from their cell phone users. Soon this may be the case with Internet.
Archive (torrent) sites will become slower as users speeds are regulated even more.
There's a ton of arguments against regulation and privatization of the Internet....but who here is for the capitalization of the Internet?
It just doesn't seem to make much sense me.
