When a creature is copied with {progenitor mimic} and starts producing tokens just as {borderland ranger} or {acidic slime} would tge ETB ability activate when each token is created?
4/15/2013 Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied creature will trigger when Progenitor Mimic enters the battlefield. Any "as [this creature] enters the battlefield" or "[this creature] enters the battlefield with" abilities of the chosen creature will also work.
The best place to use the mimic is on one of the mimic produced tokens. It then has two instances of token production and spawns two a turn :)
So put onto the battlefield allows enter the battlefield? I had been told on here no when I asked for my krenko deck
if you are activating {krenko, mob boss}'s ability to make goblins, those goblins ARE entering the battlefield and will trigger etb effects. anyone who told you different is wrong unless their is something funky like a {torpor orb} out.
603.6a (http://imtgapp.com/forum/index.php?action=imtg;area=rule;number=603.6a): Enters-the-battlefield abilities trigger when a permanent enters the battlefield. These are written, "When [this object] enters the battlefield, . . . " or "Whenever a [type] enters the battlefield, . . ." Each time an event puts one or more permanents onto the battlefield, all permanents on the battlefield (including the newcomers) are checked for any enters-the-battlefield triggers that match the event.
Thank you very much:)
