I am working on a mono black human deck. So far the weakness is flying.

Agreed, why not just kill the fliers? Black is king when it comes to {Murder}.
But then I have to have it available in my hand is the problem.

{Skirsdag High Priest} could be very good for mono-black humans and gives you something to bring down flyers.
{herald of torment} is a demon but he is a great card to bestow late game
{ravenous demon} would be good too
