iMtG Server: Gathering

Elemental Mayhem??? 59 cards, 0 sideboard 4 {Izzet Guildgate} 9 {Mountain} 9 {Island} 22 lands 4 {Frostburn Weird} 3 {Guttersnipe} 4 {Master of Waves} 4 {Young Pyromancer} 4 {Nivmagus Elemental} 19 creatures 4 {Molten Birth} 2 {Magma Jet} 4 {Mizzium Mortars} 2 {Bident of Thassa} 2 {Spark Jolt} 4 {Essence Backlash} 18 other spells Sideboard Notes: Just looking for some help with the deck, want to keep it standard, but I'm a loss for what I could do to make this a winning deck. This is what I've thrown together. Help?

I would take out all the enchantments that give flying and maybe one gutter to put in burn like  {Magma Jet} or  {Lightning Strike} 

Also there are strictly better counter spells that you can use like  {Dissolve} or  {Syncopate}

Updated :) money is an issue for me, so I'm going with what I have here at home.  {Essence Backlash} is costly, yes, but the people I play with have really high mana cost cards, so I wanna keep it around.

i would say -2 {spark jolt} +2 {lightning strike}.

I would, but I like the scry more than anything. I'll probably switch them out for magma jets because of the scry when I get two more.
