Run 4 Treetops. Manlands? Because they are that good.
Quote from: cltrn81 on May 06, 2014, 10:30:23 PMYou're only running 4 Discards spells, so the probability of evening getting those is less than 40. Treetops are too good against a lot of decks because they can handle 3/3. And a turn 1 tap land isn't bade when you can end up going for more.Quote from: DeathlyFoiend on May 06, 2014, 10:02:17 PMThat is how I originally built it. Quote from: ConanEdo on May 06, 2014, 09:39:37 PMThanks for the explanation. I understand now.Quote from: LordJanova on May 06, 2014, 09:21:13 PMThe rock is a deck based around BGx minus the x strategies. You might say that Jund is the Rock am Lightning Bolt. Basically, it's lots of disruption via hand attack and removal backed by undercostes or efficient creatures. It's manabase is solid, being two colors, as opposed to Jund.
I'm asking purely out of ignorance, but what makes this deck what it is? Why is it called the rock? It looks like jund without red. I know that rock decks are a thing I just don't know what they are.
Quote from: Sparkle Ninja on May 07, 2014, 12:36:31 AMI am a big fan of this card and really this card gives your opponents that card on your turn so there is a good likelihood you can make them discard it before they get a chance to use it with this deck.
Master of the feast might be bad due to the fact that you're giving the opponent a card advantage
