Post by: Spencer Addington on May 05, 2014, 02:49:42 AM
T1 swamp {carrion feeder}
T2 swamp {grave crawler}
T3 swamp {carnival of souls}

Sac grave crawler to carrion feeder, bring it back with the one untapped swamp, sac again and use the mana produced by carnival to keep paying for it to come back. Pro kills get dayz...

yea i think i might add this to my edh. if its down to one player left or i really want to one shot someone. as long as i have more life then an opponent, and he has no blockers, just pay as much as you need and swing for lethal.

Use that floating black to   {Cruel Feeding} before you swing.

the black from {carnival of souls} is being used to cast {gravecrawler}, so unless you {dark ritual} you shouldnt have any mana leftover for {cruel feeding} on turn 3.

Play the carnival on turn 2.
Turn 3. Swamp, gravecrawler, (one mana in the pool and two untapped swamps) should leave plenty of mana for cruel feeding.

Even with it being played on turn 3 there should still be one mana floating/available. Regardless of where you leave the gravecrawler.

Turn 3. Swamp, carnival (used two mana, one left) sac gravecrawler use left over mana to cast from gy. Enters and gives one mana. Sac repeat. Either use the left over mana to recast after sacing, or cast cruel feeding.

Or just play turn one {Blood Celebrant}. Pass turn. During untap before draw tap swamp activate celebrant and choose black. Rinse repeat until desired effect is achieved.

Imo this is the best suicide option avail in mtg other than the zero cost cards that make u lose game if u dont pay on next upkeep

This will not work as described. The earliest you can tap a land for mana is during the upkeep, at which point you've passed the untap step.

I didnt know that. Thank you for the info. So I'll revise my above statement to say upkeep instead of untap.

I can do you one better.

Turn 1:
{Black Lotus}, crack for {B}{B}{B}
{Blood Celebrant}, pay {B} into his ability and pay yourself to death.

Hell, you don't even need a land drop this way.

This does not work, you need to pay {B} and a life for each activation.

This totally works.
1. Crack Lotus for BBB
2. Cast Celebrant (BB floating)
3. Spend B and one life to activate Celebrant, making a B (BB floating)
4. Go to 3
