Title: Collecting
Post by: Ptsgpbk on May 04, 2014, 03:35:37 PM
Just a quick question, how should I start building cards up for a trade binder as I barely have any cards ATM that are worth over £1

Buy packs and trade up in value.

It's still a good idea to start. It'll begin expanding as you go. As a general rule of thumb, you separate out your rares and mythics into a binder. And maybe some other cards of value, like {lightning bolt} or something

Nice, I have already sorte them in a binder for mythic/rare/uncommon/common with any duplicates of commons in a box, they are then sorted in colour

Buy unsourced bulk on ebay.  Normally you get good stuff.  Also, find someone you know who's getting out of magic and buy their bulk.  I did that for $500 and I have $1800 of cards in my possession and he still owes me ~6 big boxes.
People sell they're stuff at my LGS and my LGS has a tournament and whoever wins the tournament gets 20 free cards from the collection
