Except Trekkies, go die alone, deep in cold space.
It's always amazed me the intense dislike between Star Wars - Star Trek - and even lord of the rings / the hobbit. I don't remember even meeting anyone that likes all 3 of them. It's like you only have the mental ability to love one amazing thing at a time. (I choose lotr by the way).
I love Star Wars, LoTR, and the new Star Trek movies.
The old Star Trek stuff I cannot do...
I like Star Wars and LOTR, may the fourth be with you all
I bought a shirt last night of Darth Vader kayaking for the occasion.
Just yesterday I was simultaneously watching Empire Strikes Back/ back to back Voyager/ Twin Towers...
Doctor Who. That is all
The old Doctor Who, yes!!! Newer ones, meaning from the mid-90's on... Not so much.
LotR... Books yes, movies were ok.
Star Trek? The best was Enterprise and DS9, IMO.
Star Wars? I wonder how Disney will 'F' it up...

Deep Space 9
I know. I meant... That's your favorite?
One of them. It describes war, religious persacution, enemies becoming friends, self-discovery, plus the main Captain is not Caucasian. It's a very philosophical series. The only thing it is really missing is the Borg 😞
Guess that's why my wife loves Voyager so much
I like Voyager a lot too. And anything with... Uh... God, I can't remember his name.

I like all of them. A lot of people like all of them. They just keep quiet and enjoy them unlike the haters.

Strongly agree.
Movies were more than ok IMO. You are talking about cramming a lot of stuff in 3+ hour movies. They did great capturing what they could under the time constraints of a movie.
They left out the most important character. Tom Bombadil. Without him, those hobbits would have stayed buried by the Barrow-Wight or eaten by Old Man Willow...

When j first saw the movie, I went on a 16 hour rant about that exactly!
I REALLY agree with that. Tom was da best character come on!
Revenge of the sixth!
LIKE ALL THE SERIES'!
