Post by: K-RO on April 03, 2012, 03:30:30 PM
If I played 2 curse of bloodletting on someone and did damage would that damage double then double again due to the curses effect?

Yes, with two {Curse of Bloodletting}s in play, damage to that player will be quadrupled.

Ok because while at a tournament I had gotten called by a judge saying I couldn't do that. So I wanted to verify

The curse couldn't double after being doubled due to the fact thy are the same curse.

:o Is this a certified judge? ???  You can confirm what I say in the card rulings for {Curse of Bloodletting}.

I'm fine with players making ruling mistakes, but a judge should be held to a higher standard.  I think this ruling should be obvious to a judge.  Maybe it's just me...  :-\

Agreed! He's basically saying I can't burn your face with {lightning bolt} twice, because I already did and it's the same card. This "judge" makes me angry

Two {Parallel Lives} make quadruple tokens, so do two {Doubling Seasons}.  Two {Furnace of Wrath}s mean quad damage too!

Double {curse of bloodletting} was a staple of my deck!  If I had a {curse of misfortunes} out, and a curse of bloodletting in my hand, I'd search for another letting and attatch it, then play te one from my hand. Two in one turn!  This is of course with {curse of thirst} in play as well

See I'm glad I'm not the only one who sees it, my deck revolves around getting curses while they deal with my titans. Thanks for the clarification
