Title: Elesh norn and marath
Post by: blackychan1 on April 29, 2014, 05:47:42 PM
How does {elesh norn, grand cenobite}'s effect affect {marath, will of the wild}? Is I cast marath for three, does he only get one 1/1 counter? Or does he remain a 0/0 , with three counters? Or are two counters just null? (Sorry if I'm not being clear...

Two Counters just don't effect power/toughness. They are still there to remove with Marath's ability

You'll have a 1/1 Marath with three +1/+1 counters on it, which can still be removed to activate the ability.  Just be aware that if you only activate it for 1, Marath will die for having 0 toughness before you could activate it again.

Since he does not need to pay the counters one at a time he could remove all three at once.
