What's your favorite card from the new set? Mine would have to be {Bearer of the Heavens} the artwork and flavor is amazing this card will for sure be going into my reanimater deck

Well I have 2 already Im open to picking up another 2 to complete my playset. Id love to build GWB so I could run both pharika and ajani but Im stalling to think of much past courser that will fit a build like that. Ive been out of the Magic loop for about 2-3 yrs now so just starting to familiarize myself with std again

I added 8 of the uncommons in the set to my Peasant cube, I love this set. {Underworld Coinsmith}, {Banishing Light} and {Disciple of Deceit} all get props for being cool.

{Athreos, God of Passage} Is pretty awesome I'm making a standard deck with him as soon as I get some

Oh man I totally forgot about {Launch the Fleet} it wouldn't be bad for what I'm making
{Gluttonous Cyclops}. It's not good, but the flavor text and art are hilarious.
{Godsend} and {Ajani, Mentor of Heroes}
{Eidolon of Blossoms} is probably my favorite so far, though I've only played standard with my friend since the prerelease weekend (new work schedule = no FNM for a while).
Giving green reliable card draw can gets insanely scary insanely quickly. We've lovingly named the eidolon Joey btw. Anywho, he slapped together what's pretty much a green devotion to enchantments deck with a white splash for some fun and it's disgusting. Seriously. Hard casting a {worldspine worm} with ten or so mana left over, and getting to draw off almost any card he played? I'll have to get his actual deck list. You'd think {Dictate of Karmetra} would be a bad thing, helping your opponent as much as it helps you. At least that's what I thought. But he got second at FNM out of 30-odd people. Can't argue with results
I'd be interested in seeing that decklist. Sounds fun.

24 lands, 4 of each GW dual and more forests than plains. And two Nyxthos too
I know I'm missing a few things in there but that's the general gist. That dictate isn't super crazy with Nyxthos but by the time he was really rolling it didn't matter. Garruck's more of a backup plan for the worldspines, coupled with even more potential card draw. And dropping the arbor colossus with a monstrous activation same turn happened a fair amount. IIRC he said the only thing he really had probs with were pack rats, but there are ways to sideboard for that.
The big surprise for me was that the dictate didn't end up hurting him, because most other decks weren't built to take advantage of it. So yeah, fun stuff all in all
