Ok someone confirm for me. So I have multiple {haunted plate mail} on the BF and no creatures. I activate my first plate mail, in response I activate any others I have before the first resolves. Now there is no reason all of them should not turn into 4/4 creatures....correct?
The wording states I can only activate it if there are no creatures.....but I am not sure if the effect will check for creatures before it resolves and fizzle. Whatcho guys think?
You have it correct. The Ability does only check for activation not for resolution.
7/1/2013 It's possible to activate the first activated ability of Haunted Plate Mail in response to activating the first ability of another Haunted Plate Mail and have them both become creatures until end of turn.
A friend does this all the time with his burn deck. Frustrating but true if you're on the receiving end. Much like whip + obzedat :(
