Well, if you're willing to go to Newark area then I go to GameTable Adventures. Amazing place. Small but very nice people, varying products, etc. I know The Soldiery is in Columbus, but I'm not sure of many more. Gorzo may know some.

Not sure where exactly where in ohio but I visited some friends there. I checked out alter reality games. They had two shops with a lot of stuff. http://www.alterealitygames.com they seemed to be a little more competitive then what I would look for, but I don't take this too serious.
